On 10 Feb 2001, the KI co-sponsored a career panel symposium with the University of
California at Irvine Cambodian
Student Organization. The Symposium began in the morning with a question-and-answer
session involving the six panelists and continued in the afternoon with a lunch buffet
where students and professionals could interact on a more personal level. Career fields
represented on the panel included the medical, legal, finance, education, science
and social work professions. In addition to the panelists, various other
professionals attended the Symposium and spoke with students over lunch.
Approximately 60-70 students from schools and universities throughout Southern
California attended the event.
Thanks to all the professionals who took time out of their weekend to
speak with students. Special thanks to the following individuals
