Dear Khmer Institute, Thank you for that brilliant book critique! I hope it gets wide circulation so as to straighten out the facts. I know a dozen Khmer in Australia who could easily recount a much more vivid and truly authentic account of the Pol Pot years but it's amazing how some opportunists make a profit on fame and money by falsely giving their version of events. I also think your article is an excellent advertisement for the need to have well trained historians, everywhere. Regards,
