STAFF

Vathany Say Board Member comes from a family of talented performing artists, yet her particular gift happens to be in the field of entertaining rather than entertainment per se: Vathany is an adept hostess who excels in communication as well as the culinary arts. After spending 1999 traveling abroad, Vathany ended up in Cambodia where she worked and welcomed in the year 2000. Vathany has since returned to America and, in between her studies, she volunteers her time at Wat Maryland.

Rita Pin Ahrens Editor was born in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime and arrived in the United States in 1981. She earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Yale University and a master's degree in Education from the University of New Haven. She currently resides and works in Connecticut as an educator. In her spare time, Rita devotes her energy to creative writing, a fledgling Khmer herbal garden, two guinea pigs, and her husband - though not necessarily in that order.

Also special thanks to Phanna Kloth for volunteering his time to assist us with various aspects of our website programming and construction.
